Britain's Bradley Wiggins, winner of the 2012 Tour de France, returns to action this weekend in the Tour of Poland, after a season hit by injury and illness 12ax7.

The 33-year-old, who is also the reigning Olympic time-trial champion, was forced to sit out this year's edition of the Tour de France, which was won by his Team Sky team-mate and compatriot Chris Froome.

This year's Tour of Poland begins with two opening stages in the mountains of northern Italy, with the remaining five in Poland, including a final stage time-trial in the southern city of Krakow.

Wiggins has not raced since he was forced to abandon the Giro d'Italia through illness on May 17 but Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford said this week he was "very, very motivated" for his return to action.

The popular Londoner will have alongside him Colombian Rigoberto Uran, who finished second in the Giro behind Italy's Vincenzo Nibali and also races in Poland personalized clothing labels.

"Nibali has been training in the Dolomites for the last 30 days. It's not only a question of points in the UCI classification but also prestige," Tour of Poland director Czeslaw Lang said of the opening stages in the mountains.

"Whoever wins on Passo Pordoi enters into cycling history, just like those who win on the Mont Ventoux or Alpe d'Huez in France," he added.

In all, 138 riders from 23 teams are taking part in the Tour, which ends on August 3  

SAINT-AMAND-MONTROND, France AAP/Agencies - Michael Rogers told Saxo-Tinkoff to ride full gas towards the end of the 13th stage of the Tour de France on Friday , resulting in team leader Alberto Contador stealing back more than minute in the race for yellow.
The Australian urged his teammates to put the hammer down with 30km to go on a day when strong crosswinds caused havoc in the peloton.
Saxo-Tinkoff caused a split in the lead group with 14 riders escaping up the road to Saint-Amand-Montrond.
Race leader Chris Froome (Sky) lost 1:09 to his closest rivals, including Contador, who moved up one place to third overall on the general classification (GC).
Belkin's Dutch rider Bauke Mollema climbed up to second overall.
"I saw everyone was tired at roughly 30km to go and I just said to the boys 'Let's go, let's try, we've got nothing to lose'," an exhausted Rogers said after the finish.
"The opportunity arose for us and we took it.
"We went as hard as we could. It worked well, we clawed back some time, so it (the Tour) is not finished."
Saxo-Tinkoff's road captain said he decided to throw down the gauntlet "in a split second" and, impressively, six Saxo riders made the split of 14.
Eventual stage winner Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma) only just joined them.
"They (Saxo-Tinkoff) put it in the gutter, (teammate) Michal Kwiatkowski got me half way across ... then I sprinted and managed to just get in bolt embroidery," Cavendish said.
"In an echelon you've got five seconds to make it - otherwise that's it (because of the wind)."
Froome could only watch as the 14 disappeared up the road.
"I was feeling quite comfortable but obviously when that split went the first 12 or so guys made it in there but anything further back than that and you didn't make it," the yellow jersey wearer said.
"Having lost a minute ... that's always a bitter pill to swallow."
In a troubling sign for Froome ahead of the Alps his Australian teammate Richie Porte was dropped even before the final spilt.
Cadel Evans (BMC) was disappointed not to be able to follow Saxo-Tinkoff as he tries to climb back into the top 10 on GC.
"It was a good move by them," the 2011 winner said.
"They held back, they stayed calm and then they went.
"In the end a bit of a GC shake-up on a day we didn't expect."
Evans, who now sits 12th overall, said he felt sorry for Movistar leader Alejandro Valverde who punctured earlier in the stage and lost 9:54 on the day water filter hong kong.
Valverde tumbled from 2nd to 16th on GC as a result.  

German public broadcaster ZDF has fallen offside with soccer fans over a controversial television advertisement to promote matches involving the national women's team at the European Championships in Sweden chuen hing.

In the 22-second ad to promote Euro 2013, a female footballer is seen juggling a dirty football with her feet before chipping it into a washing machine, which is set on "leather" mode.

Favourites Germany are bidding to win their sixth straight European title and have won seven of the 10 finals since the tournament was first held in 1984.

Fans in football-mad Germany have taken to Twitter to brand the advert "sexist and totally embarrassing", with one user assessing: "ZDF have scored an own goal with this Euro ad!".

ZDF's editor Peter Frey defended the advert, by saying: "Advertising is made to be noticed and to generate interest, so this advert was successful."

While ZDF can also point to their commitment to the women's game, having shown matches live for a number of years, the advert has not impressed Silvia Neid's side wine education.

Midfielder Fatmire Bajramaj, who was voted world player of the year in 2010, said it had not gone down well within the German squad.

"The advert was not a good idea," said the 25-year-old.

"You'd like the advert to have something to do with women's football, not with a washing machine.

"They should change things for the next advert Asian college of knowledge management."

Germany were held to a goalless draw by the Netherlands on Thursday. The tournament started on Wednesday, with the final to be held on July 28 in Stockholm.

That will be the burning question when the Melbourne Vixens host the Queensland Firebirds in Sunday's preliminary final.

The battle in the Firebirds' goal circle, where Vixens defenders Geva Mentor and Bianca Chatfield will try to stop Romelda Aiken and Natalie Medhurst, will decide who progresses to the grand final and gets a shot at the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

Aiken, just nine goals away from scoring 600 goals for the season, will lock horns with arguably the competition's best defender in Geva Mentor.

Mentor knows it is not easy stopping the the 196cm Jamaican. The Vixens' goalkeeper is the best defensive rebounder in the competition but she knows she has her work cut out against Aiken, the competition's best offensive rebounder case for samsung galaxy.

"We know this is going to be a close game, and possession is going to be very valuable. When we do get a turnover we are going to have to make the most of it," Mentor said.

The goalkeeper said she would not change her own attacking style to combat the height of Aiken.

"I know there are a few things I can do to help myself, but I won't change my attack on the ball," she said.

"I know I have to rely heavily on the whole team and the pressure we can put on our opponents all over the court."

While the Firebirds will be buoyed by their victory over last year's premiers Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic in last week's minor semi-final, the Vixens are looking to bounce back after losing to the Thunderbirds in the major semi-final tooth implant.

In their two matches this season, the Vixens and Firebirds have shared the points as both teams won away from home.  

A woman removed the batteries from a smoke alarm in her home just hours before a fire broke out, claiming her life, a coroner has found marketing strategy.

Roselle Ramirez, 25, was unable to escape the fire that engulfed her Paraparaumu home in April 2011.

Ms Ramirez's two young children, who were at the time aged seven and five, along with her friend Leahmay Osik and her son and partner, survived the blaze.

In his findings, made public on Thursday, Coroner Ian Smith said the smoke alarm in Ms Ramirez's rented home was activated about 5.30pm on April 12, 2011.

Ms Ramirez checked for any sign of smoke, but none could be seen. The smoke alarm continued to beep, so she removed the batteries.

Some time around midnight, a fire broke out in the lounge, quickly engulfing the front of the house.

Most of the occupants were able to get out of the house, but Ms Ramirez and one of her children were found on a bedroom floor wine class.

The child was able to be resuscitated and has made a full recovery, but Ms Ramirez's life could not be saved.

Mr Smith said the cause of the fire has not been able to be determined, but it was likely electrical.

He said Ms Ramirez's death was tragic and highlighted the importance of households having operational smoke alarms.

Recently released figures from the fire service show that more than a dozen people killed in avoidable house fires in the past year had no working smoke alarms in their homes.

In the past 12 months Asian college of knowledge management, 20 people died in avoidable blazes at home, with 80 per cent of them receiving no warning because smoke detectors were either not installed or not working.

是初夏，火的季節。秋天還有多久？等火慢慢燃燒過盡，就是秋天。

再雨過後還是雨浸泡的時節，綠葉被雨淋得格外的淒美，並帶著瑩瑩的眼色，一閃一閃惹人憐愛。我怕驚醒沉睡中的火，輕輕的擦掉那滴露水。靜靜地看著羞澀的它，就像要出嫁的新娘。

當我再次經過那顆樹的時候，已經是寒冷的冬天，外面還飄著白色的花。他說，冰火其實是可以相戀的，就像冷冷的你遇上火一般的我。

那天在上主的面前祈禱，我問他，能不能讓冰火相戀，牧師告訴我，愛是心，愛是你們融為一體。就如夏和冬。

因此，這句很短的詩，很符合當時的意境。

男人的一生是乾澀的，這一點和茶相似。人們往往只看到男人豐富、燦爛的人生，而忽略了背後他們在生活這口大鍋裡被煎熬的迪士尼美語 好唔好過程。

有經歷的男人看上去總是別有一番意味，那是因為他們經受過熱火的洗禮、粉身碎骨的折磨之後，才百煉成茶，留下淡淡的苦澀的清香。

三毛說過一句話，飲茶“第一道苦若生命，第二道甜似愛情，第三道淡如微風”，若以此標準來衡量男人，滋味又豈止三道？所以說，女人在選擇男人的時候，不要挑三揀四，適合自己的才好。

生活中睿智如茶甘美如茶體貼如茶的男人是存在的，他們堅持固有的生存方式，在命運的河流中，無論波濤洶湧還是上下沉浮，他們都淡然自若，從從容容……哪怕有一天真成了茶葉渣，也會有人把其晾曬乾淨，裝進枕頭里———這樣的男人，是可以相伴一生的日置醫學瘦身美容集團脫毛。

古今中外，有許多文人騷客，悲歎、揭穿、直至詛咒人生的消極面，他們痛心疾首於世界的悲慘，正說明了他們對於幸福和公正的渴求；他們描寫背叛、陰謀、虛偽和無恥，正說明了他們對於忠實、光明、真誠和尊嚴的向往；他們揭開某些人生的虛空、無聊、蒼白和黯淡，正說明了他們對於充實、價值、進取和積極有為的人生的期待。沒有理想，哪兒來的不滿？沒有追求，哪兒來的失望？沒有愛的幻想，哪兒來的傷感怨懟？沒有對於友誼和心靈溝通的渴求，哪兒來的對於人情如紙的憤懣？說到底，正面的價值是不可回避的，嘲笑與否定一切是不可能的，月盈則虧，水滿則溢，嘲笑否定得緊了，也就同時否定和嘲笑了嘲笑與否定本身。

當然，許多價值觀念也有可能成為偏執，成為主觀的一廂情願，成為排除異己的獨斷論，成為邪教，成為恐怖法西斯主義。尤其是不同的價值觀會成為互相爭鬥的由頭……例如宗教戰爭，例如進行自殺式襲擊的恐怖分子。這樣，在認清在放棄一種偽價值的網站推廣同時，價值真空，價值困惑，價值虛無的狀況就會泛濫和肆虐了。最近在電視節目中我看到三個16歲上下的少年，為了滿足哥們兒兩三千塊錢的需要，竟然毫不在意地殺死了一個出租汽車的女司機。他們公然地談論他們的謀財害命的計劃，如談家常。我也一次又一次地在電視新聞中看到惡性刑事罪犯在被處極刑時的滿不在乎的表情。可以想像我們這個民族當中的某些人哪怕是一小部分人，在經過了動蕩、批判、鬥爭、轉變再轉變之後，上帝死了，理性死了，道德死了，科學死了，啟蒙與現代性也死了，孔子孟子死了，新左派自由派民主派西化派斯大林派格瓦拉派原教旨派原紅衛兵派也全不靈了，於是在相互批判了個不亦樂乎的同時，是人們的價值系統的全面的與不間斷的崩塌，是價值真空與價值困惑使人變成非人的樣子：不負責任，厚顏無恥，反文明、冷血、殘酷、是非不明，為小利而犯大罪……

我們可以有許多嘲諷，我們可以汲取許多經驗，不輕言絕對的價值，更不能以一己的價值取向為天下法，並以之剪裁世界。我們也許更應該多重視一點日常生活中的和平、善良、健康、正直……我們也許可以使我們的價值觀念中多一點人間性、世俗性，而不是必須有一個絕對的理念壓倒一切庸凡的東西。但這仍然是一種珍視，一種愛惜，一種眷戀，一種向往。經過了太多的動蕩，經過了極大的代價的付出，我們仍然將建立起新的更現代更合乎理性也更能繼承和借鑒一切優秀的東西的價值系統和精神財富。如果這些東西什麼都沒有，只有嘲笑，只有看透，只有誰也不信，那還怎麼活下去呢？即使只是好死不如賴活著，不也還包含了一種對於生存的搜尋器優化價值認定嗎？
